Hello hookah.org. Paul here with another video review for you. This one being for Social Smoke Watermelon Chill.
Watermelon Chill is exactly what it sounds like. It is a watermelon flavor with minty goodness in the background. It’s not aggressively minty. It’s not super cooling but it’s got that nice little bit of mentholated character that is going to give you a nice refreshing smoke.
This is by no means a realistic watermelon. It is very much candied watermelon. This is one of the most Jolly Rancher like flavors I’ve had in a long time.
If you’re coming into this looking for realistic watermelon, you’re going to be disappointed, but to be frank, if you’re coming into any hookah session looking for realistic watermelon, you’re going to be disappointed.
I’ve only ever found one tobacco that came close and that one doesn’t even exist anymore. If you’re looking for watermelon Jolly Rancher though, this is definitely it.
On the note of watermelon and Jolly Rancher, this is a super sweet flavor. It is not cloying though, which is great. It is really hard to make a flavor that is so sweet on the tongue without giving you that glycerin like film that will fill your mouth and coat everything.
This is still wonderfully refreshing. I’m not sure if that’s due to the menthol and mint, but whatever it is, they balanced it really well and it’s great.
As you’ve seen, the clouds are really good, which is to be expected from Social Smoke. They’re known for having big fluffy light clouds. The texture is really light, which also lends itself to the refreshing character.
All in all, I call this a really solid tobacco. They just introduced this in the last month and a half, and it is very good. I am very happy with this tobacco. I’m usually not a big fan of candy flavors, but I find this one really pleasing.
If you like watermelon flavors, if you are interested in watermelon with a little bit of mint in the background, check this one out. It’s awesome. I am a big fan.
