This week on the chopping block it is Hooked on Hookah Peach. A good peach flavor is a delicious indulgence that is all too often ruined by artificial and overly saccharine offerings from companies that must have stock in peach ring candy.

Happily, the peach tobacco offered by Hooked on Hookah smells amazing in the package. It’s by no means a natural peach scent, but it’s not the blatantly artificial scent that I despise so much. I was very excited to try this flavor and it was the most enticing of the three samples I was sent. Sadly, that’s where the good news pretty much ends.

The clouds are fine as should be expected from such a wet tobacco. There is plenty of glycerin and honey in this mix to make sure of that. It packs fairly well, but it feels like it hasn’t had time to properly meld together into a completed tobacco. It’s the same feeling I got with the mint. It’s not a deal breaker by any means. We’ll save that honor for the flavor.

The flavor is really lacking. It’s enjoyable and it definitely tastes like peach with a little nectarine, but it’s entirely too light for me. I don’t need to be drowned in nectar, but I also don’t want to have to go searching through the trees for a single taste of peach. Strengthen this one up a bit and it will be a winner. Until that point, there are better peach flavors on the market and I will keep suggesting Tangiers Juicy Peach or Peach Iced Tea for anyone interested in great peach tobacco.
