5 Best Hookah Flavors

Anyone would be hard pressed to choose just 5 flavors of hookah tobacco to smoke for the rest of their lives but you folks have twisted my arm and it’s time that I reveal my 5 best hookah flavors in no particular order.

Nakhla Mizo Mint

This is absolutely my favorite mint flavor. It’s not the most natural and it’s definitely a bit sweeter than I often want from a mint but it is well balanced, strong as all get out, and stable enough to keep its flavor for years. Where other mint flavors tend to fade over time and lose their intensity Mizo Mint keeps plugging along well after the others have dropped out of the race. Hats off to Nakhla.

Social Smoke Mango Habanero

Social Smoke Mango Habanero is a fairly new tobacco and it found a seat in my top 5 the first time I smoked it. There is no place else that you can find hot peppers represented in hookah tobacco and I think the flavor was executed perfectly. A slight spice balanced with a sweet mango makes this a delicious and intriguing flavor unique among all others.

Tangiers Mimon

Combining a natural mint flavor with an oily and sweet lemon seems like an obvious choice but Tangiers hit the nail on the head with the Mimon flavor and I haven’t found another tobacco that does this so well. It’s not a candy flavor and it is a bit intense with a distinctly heavy mouth feel while still being refreshing. I can smoke this one every day without getting bored and find myself crawling back after I’ve exhausted my taste buds with all the other flavors I test for your guys.

Tangiers Peach Iced Tea

Tangiers does Peach flavors better than just about anyone else and they paired this delicious fruit essence with a sweet tea that compliments it beautifully. Peach Iced Tea has been a favorite for years and I don’t foresee it being knocked out of my top 5 any time soon. It’s a nearly perfect summer time smoke for those balmy nights watching a storm roll in.

Social Smoke Arabian Nights

I have used the Arabian Nights flavor by Social Smoke to introduce many people to a darker side of hookah smoking. Turkish coffee with hints of chocolate and sweet spice supported by a velvety mouth feel make this an alluring smoke. It’s a great change from the sweet candy and fruit flavors that dominate the market and it reminds me enough of traditional tobacco to draw me into the session without the heavy nicotine buzz.
