Hey everyone, Jen from Hookah Hooligan here coming at you with another post. Thanks again for Hookah.org for having me =) This time I want to do something a little different. The holidays are among us and now that the days are counting down to Christmas(or any other holiday you celebrate) I thought it would be cool to make a nice list of 5 holiday themed tobacco mixes that you can enjoy this season. These are tried and tested mixes that are perfect for spending time with family and friends during this festive time of year, or for relaxing by a fireplace while you enjoy a book or a TV show. I hope you enjoy them and please leave a comment telling us how you liked them =)
1. Cocoa Berry Cream
1/3 each of Tangiers Cocoa, Classic Raspberry and Vanilla – This mix is my favorite for this time of year. It’s the perfect mix of sweet, tangy and chocolate and it reminds me of a fancy boxed chocolate.
2. Berry Mint
½ each of Al Fakher Berry and Mint – Two staple Al Fakher flavors (check out Smoking-Hookah.com for Al Fakher shisha) come together beautifully to create a refreshing flavor to brighten your day. Honestly, this one is great year round.
3. Apple Cinnamon
½ each of Nakhla Apple and Cinnamon – This is an obvious mix, but I feel like it sometimes gets forgotten because it’s so simple. It also works well with double apple if you are a fan of that type of flavor. Try adding a touch of vanilla for a little more sweetness.
4- Spiced Mint
½ Tangiers Cane Mint and ¼ each of Tangiers (check out Hookah-Shisha for Tangiers shisha) Clove and Cinnamon – This is an interesting and delicious mixture of strong cooling mint along with the spice of clove and cinnamon. Definitely an adventurous flavor but I like it a lot.
5- Orange Spice Mocha
½ Al Fakher Cafe Latte and ¼ each Orange and Cinnamon. Plus a little bit of Chocolate. I was inspired to make this one from a drink that I sometimes get a local coffee shop here the drink consists of spiced orange flavors mixed into a classic mocha. It’s great, and even though this mix doesn’t replicate it perfectly, it’s pretty damn close.
There you go! Those are my top 5 holiday themed tobacco mixes. Of course, the brands mentioned can be swapped out for a similar flavor in another brand, but I can’t vouch for the outcome since I’ve only ever done it with the ones mentioned. I encourage you to get creative and try making your own recipes that you can serve to friends and surprise them with your new awesome flavor mixing skills.
