Finding your right type of shisha can mean a lot of trial and error, not to mention wasted tobacco. While you’re still developing your shisha taste profile, try to narrow down your preferences to these few categories. This will hopefully help you pick new flavors to try out that will be close to what type of shisha you would enjoy.
Traditional
If you’re looking to smoke just like the old school fellows do in Middle Eastern cafes, then you’ll want to direct your attention to double apple. This flavor is apple scented with anise, an herb that tastes much like licorice.
Other traditional shisha flavors: Mint, grape, and lemon. For traditional brands, try Nakhla or Al Fakher.
Sweet and Floral
For most people, a sweet, fruity, or floral shisha is a safe way to go. Blueberry, mango, and other fruity blends tend to be best sellers in more contemporary brands like Starbuzz and Fantasia.
Sweet/Floral shisha suggestions: Starbuzz Blue Mist, Tangiers Blue Flower, Romman Good Times
Savory and Spice
For those who are not interested in sweet shisha flavors, there are some lovely spicy flavors available. My personal favorite is Starbuzz Lebanese Bombshell; with an unexpected cedar aroma, this shisha is light and surprisingly pleasant. Many of these shishas are also excellent fall flavors.
if the likes of Zaghloul, Soft Black and Bata, what does these flavors fall to? Traditional or Spicy? Im confused
They would be more traditional than spicy
